Therapy to support well-being. In-person near Sydenham, Ontario and by video.

Individual Therapy for Adults

You may have tended to be someone who is thoughtful, curious, and dedicated to your relationships, your work, or to engaging with life with commitment; yet, that well of care and commitment may not extend as easily to yourself. You might feel stuck, navigating life’s complexities, stress, demanding roles, anxiety, low mood, or impacts of past trauma, and longing for a greater sense of engagement, growth, or inner peace.

With over 20 years of clinical experience, I provide therapy to adults from all walks of life facing these kinds of challenges. While I work with a wide variety of individuals, I also have extensive experience supporting veterans, military members, and their adult family members.

How I Help

Through our work, I help you explore your experiences, gain greater self-understanding, develop skills, and work toward your goals. My approach is evidence-based, grounded primarily in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Compassion-Focused Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I strive to offer a compassionate presence and an approach that blends depth and pragmatism.

How We Work

Our work begins with learning about your needs and goals, understanding your experiences, and using that information to inform therapy. We work within a cognitive-behavioural and compassion-focused framework at whatever pace feels right for you.

Sessions are available:

  • By video for those located across Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia.
  • In-person in a private, quiet setting north of Kingston, Ontario, near Sydenham (South Frontenac Township).
