This group is about learning to make friends with yourself: to meet yourself in whatever you experiencing with understanding, patience, and support. It is about learning helpful ways to work with the thoughts and emotions that arise in you – including with the self-criticizing/shaming kinds of thoughts that arise and the painful kinds of emotions. It about supporting you in approaching and navigating your inner and outer experiences with compassion, wisdom, and courage.
This is a structured program of 12 group therapy sessions with activities to practice regularly between sessions. Each session is 1 hr 45 min in length. More info.
The fall program is tentatively scheduled to begin Wednesday, September 20, 2017 and to end Wednesday, December 6, 2017.
